The Mighty ‘Self-Isolation’ Vape

When I was initially informed that my university was going to shut its doors during the COVID 19 Pandemic, I learned that all classes were to be conducted online through video link for the foreseeable future. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect.

What I ended up with was a stack of online classes, assignments and exams… I also built some lego, and occasionally rode my bike around, from time to time.

Living from the confines of my bedroom was becoming very bleak and very boring, very quickly. With all the shops closing, and good bud increasingly hard to come by… I was staring down a long, depressing dry spell.

That all changed…
When I was first introduced to the MIGHTY Vaporiser, by Storz & Bickel.

The MIGHTY provided me with an efficient and more-than-adequate substitute to bongs and joints, throughout the many weeks of stay-at-home orders. Its ease and convenience was a blessing; and my room was always fresh, without the ever-pervasive odour of cannabis smoke sticking to the walls.

Design

The MIGHTY’s design exudes a bulky, furrow-like gripped pattern, which composes the majority of the shell… it also sports smooth sides, and an easily-accessible power button.

The MIGHTY boasts a design unlike other contemporary dry herb vaporisers. The heat-resistant plastics used in this build have a somewhat ‘cheap’ feel to them… however, overall, this piece is very solid and well made. The body separates the two batteries (to either side), and the heating element sits in the middle.

The colour matrix screen displays the current combustion temperature in orange, as well as the programmed temperature in white, with the battery level on the bottom. This is accompanied by plus and minus buttons, to the sides of the screen – which allows the user to program their device to the desired temperature.

In the top section, a detachable cooling unit… which also acts as the cover to the 0.3mg packing chamber. The mouthpiece – both comfortable and stylish – can be flipped out when ready for inhaling, and back in place when done.

All of these design elements combined give the MIGHTY a sleek, portable, professional feel.

Conclusion

Throughout lock-down, the MIGHTY Vaporiser provided me with dense clouds and positive vibes all around. This engineering marvel of the 21st century combines ease-of-use and reliability in a stunning package.

With low hassle maintenance – this thing is really simple to clean – and a long-lasting battery… the MIGHTY Vaporiser is a shot above its competition.

It’s a steep price for this unit – but we can’t help but leave it with a high recommendation.
