Three of Australia’s renowned institutions, the National Institute of Integrative Medicine (NIIM), the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (ACNEM) and NICM Health Research Institute, Western Sydney University (NICM) have partnered to provide education to practitioners and the public about integrative and complementary medicine, including nutritional and environmental medicine.

They provide practitioner training and resources as well as public information events on medicinal cannabis in response to a changing political landscape, growing consumer demand, differing regulations around access and a need for informed doctors and allied health practitioners.

The National Institute of Integrative Medicine (NIIM) is a not-for-profit organisation providing clinical services, research and education in integrative medicine. They are Australia’s leading integrative medicine institute, with NIIM Melbourne being Australia’s largest integrative medicine clinic. They have branches in Sydney and Gold Coast with plans to open more in other states.

Established in 1982, the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (ACNEM) is a non-profit medical college that offers postgraduate training and education for healthcare professionals. The NICM Health Research Institute at Western Sydney University (NICM) is a leader in integrative medicine research and policy in Australia. They are one of the world’s largest complementary and integrative medicine research concentrations.
